About Us

Raised in a gym in the small city of West Des Moines, IA. I was trained to be a level 10/elite gymnast by the Olympic coach Liang Chow who also worked with my former teammate Shawn Johnson and the famous Gabby Douglas. I was fortunate to receive several national titles throughout my level 9 and 10 gymnastic career. After sustaining a serious injury to my ankle, I chose to change my focus to All Star cheerleading. I began cheering at the age 12 and have been in love ever since. My coaches pushed me to my fullest potential and offered me my first coach position at the age of 14. I've been coaching ever since and can't seem to find my way away from a gym. After graduation high school I left to attend college at the Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA and began my college cheerleading career. A year into my college cheer career I was recruited to be a part of the NCA SPEED staff, a select group of 150 specialized college students that taught camps all across the country. While traveling across the country teaching camps, I was still competing all-star cheer at Louisiana Cheerforce and college cheer at Southern University. In 2013 I began coaching tumbling at ZCA while still in school and later graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Through the years I have watched ZCA bloom into an amazing program. Amazingly in 2019 I was able to coach ZCA’s first all-star cheerleading team our senior level 2, CODE RED. Those girls on that team will forever hold a place in my heart as they have started history as our first all-star team.

I was born and raised in Watson, La. I grew up walking on my hands. My mom and dad almost had a heart attack when they would catch me teaching myself to tumble. I would watch videos and watch other athletes to get better. After graduating Live Oak high school I began to coach All Star cheer & boy what a journey that was. I coached All Star from 2014-2018, during that time I won UCA Allstar nationals with my Junior 3 team. In 2017  we won Nationals and got the coveted jacket. I have coached several school and rec programs throughout the years. I have coached athletes that have taken their career to the college level such as Southeastern, ULL, Oklahoma,Alabama, Southern, Ole Miss & Louisiana College. This is my passion and I am looking forward to creating something new and exciting with ZCA.
